I like this games concept
but I feel like the player
needs to be able to
manipulate the game more

and I couldn't come up

A small game about a grid acting weird.

This game development didn't go so well with
me trying to implement a feature
that didn't work which
ate up an hour and a half.
So I rushed to finish it.

I personally don't like it.

new puzzle game

For the past month I have been working on a new puzzle game.

I am basing the design of the puzzles around being difficult while being simple. I do this by having the puzzles be around something the player has not explored yet and having them work out what that is. This way the puzzles don't have to be complex and can still be difficult and fun.

The game so far features pushing cubes ,pressing buttons, flying in wind, bumping into your shadow, changing gravity, teleporting and pushing cubes.

I am aiming to create and refine 100 levels for the end product. Once that is completed I will move on to other things like making the main menu and a save system.

So as it turns out it's over a year since I last made a post even though I said I would post occasionally.
I was thinking it would be a good idea to list some things I have done in that time.

I am now doing a game design course and have just finished my first year

I made a bunch of small games but I one I am most proud of is a small game called You Are which is a short motivational experience

I decided to archive all the games and incomplete games I made but that was 7 months ago

I have stopped working on game 2 for some time I might go back to it I might not. I'm working on another project now instead which I put out as many updates for.  so in conclusion I will still post updates but occasionally.

The list of things added:
-created 3 different types of laser traps
-created a new enemy that is a small eye that moves around and shoots lasers at the player
-changed the sprite of the enemy that doesn't move to an eye

here's the list of what's new:
-shield batteries (regains 20 shield)
-added more to the HUD showing the exact amount of shield and health the player has left
-added in enemies that can be hurt but can't damage the player

it's been sometime so I decided to work on another game.

which is about a robot that touches enemies to hurt them. The players goal is to collect an orb in a world then reach the end of the level to progress to the next world.
